"Dreams only remain dreams if you fail to act on them."

With 25 completed novels (Not all on this site yet...) and more on the way I finally stopped and took the time to design and post this web site. Moonlighting as a Bio Chemist for nearly 20 years I came to the realization that it was time to sit down and write my first novel. At first it was a disaster, more from my own ignorance than anything else. Soon, The Time Dominators was born. In those days I worked with an archaic Commodore 64 computer, then graduated to an archaic IBM 8088 computer...with no spell checker or anything else for that matter. I spend many a day writing...rewriting...over and over until I virtually could recite the whole book in my head. When I was done, or actually until I couldn't stand to re-read the novel again, I self published my first book. Fortunately, my brother is a professional graphic artist (as you can see from our joined website.) and I managed to get him to work up a cover. I then waited anxiously for my books to arrive. (Oh, did I forget to mention the hours...days of typesetting??) When they did I was ecstatic, the feeling of seeing your work in book form is not something I will soon forget. Then came the tough part...selling them. In the end I sold nearly 1000 copies and received much feedback from my readers. Nobody disliked the story and I received many requests wondering where the next novel was, however, there was also a lot of comments on typos. Then again you have to remember, I was working with bear skins and stone knives as far as technology goes.
                That was 25 novels ago...
Today I look back on that episode of my life as a serious wake up call. More effort...(and money) was poured into my seceding novels to ensure the same mistakes were not made twice. I also have many of those books left and if you want to read an exciting story...and can get past the typos...you can pick one up on this website.
From there I continued to write, more for the sake of the stories than for selling them. As soon as I would get done with one novel...I dove right into another. I feel now that I produce a quality piece of work. There is never a problem as far as topics are concerned, actually, I have a book filled with them. More than I can write in my lifetime. I have also done freelance novels and if you find you can't find that ideal writer to put your ideas in text...give me a jingle and we can talk about your ideas.
For me, writing is life. I can't imagine not sitting down to crank out an exciting story. Someday (hopefully soon) I will see my life long dream come true, to entertain, enlighten and give escape to people through my stories and characters.
